One more year BioImaC has participated in the Science and Innovation Week of the Community of Madrid, an event of scientific dissemination and citizen participation held from 7 to 20 November 2022.

The main objective of this XXII Edition is again, as in previous editions, to actively involve citizens in the processes of research and development in science, technology and innovation.
For this event, BioImaC organised a technical conference to present its activity and the ICTS Distributed Biomedical Imaging Network (ReDIB) in which it is integrated, with a guided tour of its facilities located in the university city (Paseo de Juan XIII nº 1, Madrid).

These technical conferences organised by BioImaC were very well received by the target public: the general public, the university community and post-compulsory students (vocational training and high school students).
In order to ensure the quality of the programmed activities and the active participation of the attendees, the capacity of each day was limited to 30 participants per day, receiving a total of 217 applications for participation in the 2 days, both from specialised training centres and from professionals and the general public.
Given the high level of interest shown in our activity as a Unique Scientific and Technical Infrastructure (ICTS) in the field of biomedical imaging, BioImaC plans to periodically schedule new open days in order to provide a satisfactory answer to all those interested in getting to know us.
